Today’s sound nugget is “Ima Read (Original Mix)” by Zebra Katz. This song is just DAAARRRK and dirty. This song just reaches into the recesses of a serial killer’s mind. I think it is meant to be irony due to the fact that the title is spelled incorrectly and it is about teaching women how to do things. It is about the faultiness of the male superiority mindframe and how certain males think. I think the song also plays on the grime of the dance floor and how people become different as they enter a dance floor. What would usually be ironic behavior for an individual becomes reality on the dance floor. Anyways I’m probably just reading too much into this.
